Thanks, D, for reminding us of this famous ’senryu’. I feel it’s a senryu because its focus is on the nitty-gritty of human life, the chief characteristic of senryu. Can you guess how I got WordPress to indent a line?!

The indent is as published in the Kerouac haiku book I have. I’d be glad to lend it to you if you tell me before Yoshino.
