An uncomfortable set of images preluding November’s full lunar eclipse, tomorrow (Nov 8) … thank goodness for the swallows, hopefully eclipsing the toy drummer… how funny – I see 2 (surely unintended) frogs in the peaceful the painting and a long-tongued creature, doubling as trees.
Well Ursula, the frogs aren’t intended, only the sleeping chameleon.
Gerald, it’s simply lovely. I’ve always admired your work and remember your readings. Splendid. Thank you so much for including my haiku. I am grateful and honored.

Grateful to have two of my haiku I wrote while in Spain last year included in this fine haiga by Gerald.
I think the one-line version of the swallows poem you decided upon with Yoshiharu works very nicely.
I liked the imagination in Yoshiharu`s poem. It seemed like a one-liner might help open the imagery?
